2023 Theme: "Truth & Unity"
John 17:20-21 “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.
Division is natural, unity takes effort.
Have you ever asked why we don’t have more unity in Prescott churches?
We are excited to see the unity that God is developing in local youth ministries. But unity is costly. It takes work, it takes time, and it's hard. The greater the differences the more challenging it can be. This is why being intentional to develop unity is so important.
Unity is costly. Jesus gave his life to break down the walls of division. He prayed to the Father that we would all be one, as He and the Father are one. Unity was so important in the early church that the apostles wrote epistles to guard the unity of the body.
What can we do to foster greater unity?
Truth Quest is an environment to develop unity in the church. It is so easy to identify why we don't attend each others' churches. There are secondary and tertiary doctrines that give proper justification for our distinctions. But these issues should not keep us from linking arms around first rank truth. We should be declaring, in unity, the Good News found in Jesus.
We have 12 churches represented by our speakers this year. Check out the line up here.
